There are more than 40 cases discussed in the De Powershift book, which is suited for students who seek higher education and all those who want to know more about bitcoin and blockchain alike.
About the Book
What is blockchain? How does it differ from existing technologies? And why does this technology exist? Blockchain is basically an immutable, decentralized, digital ledger, where we can record everything that we value.
In De Powershift, the authors discuss blockchain and cryptocurrency from a financial perspective. The ubiquitous properties that blockchain can attribute to the digital landscape give this technology the potential to unravel a powerful change. A change of roles where power is redirected from a number of large centralized players, back to the users. DePowershift is a must-read for anyone who wants to get a clear understanding about what blockchain is, how it works, and what is its potential to inspire and drive human centric solutions.
De Powershift is the first Dutch book about blockchain that is written for higher education. The book has a clear head-to-tail with numerous facts and figures, tables and graphs for more in-depth information. As you do not necessarily need to have technical knowledge to estimate the benefits of new technologies, this book is not exclusively written for people with a science background.
